It is not enough to simply have your chimney cleaned. You NEED to call Byron and have your chimney INSPECTED! After being completely blown off by another chimney cleaning company, I am SO RELIEVED Bryon 1) ACTUALLY SHOWED UP TO THE APPOINTMENT (unlike the first company I called), 2) is CERTIFIED with YEARS of experience 3) completed a cleaning and thorough inspection and in so doing, discovered an eventual catastrophe. Your safety is too important to leave to "fly-by-night" unreliable, unprofessionals. Call Byron. Don't hesitate.

So Marcus was the inspector for my wood stove he is an awesome guy friendly and very knowledgeable on how to maintain the wood stove. As he did the inspection he ask me question on how the wood stove had been while burning wood. He then started cleaning and while he was cleaning we were talking about fishing and stuff. Its a breath of fresh air to sit and talk to someone friendly. He then started to sweep the smoke stack and stuck a camera up in the smoke stack and showed me the inside of the smoke stack the seems were good all the way around. We got a clean bill of health for our wood stove. Cleaned up the rest of ashes and walked out side to check the roof and was done. Thank you Midtown Chiney Sweep for your service and i will definitely be using you again in the near future.

Daniel is exactly what I needed from a Bethel Park local business, straight forward, no B.S., honest and realistic. Told me what I needed and why, explained why these repairs need to be done and a realistic timeframe they should be done. He didn’t say “you need this right now!!” I was given a full quote the same day, a full explanation of the quote, and a full detailed inspection report (with pics). I will be looking to Midtown Chimney to perform the repairs needed (I was shown why these repairs are needed and it is apparent why!) I would highly recommend Daniel to come to you and perform an inspection and cleaning, solely based on my 1st time experience today!

Byron and his apprentice took the time and care needed to get our fireplace inserts working safely and efficiently. They showed us the features of our wood stoves, explaining the design and how to best use it for clean burning and maximum heat output throughout cold nights. They went above and beyond and were great to talk with. Very knowledgeable. We will work with them in the years to come to keep our stoves and chimneys maintained and safe. Highly recommend!
