The gentleman was early to the appointment, which i interpret as good customer service. He explained every step he would perform on our chimney. He was efficient, he left no mess, went on top of the chimney, removed the cap, cleaned the flue from the top down after doing the bottom part from the fire box and he cleaned the glass door of our fireplace insert. He was respectful of my time, showed me before and after photos and he did what he promised and that was to fix our chimney so it would draw air up the flue correctly so we didn't get smoke in the house. And they were able to get us in before Christmas - what a bonus - and their rates are very reasonable. Highly professional in all manners dealing with me and I would recommend Midtown Chimney Sweeps to take care of your chimney, should it need it, as our did. I couldn't be happier !

Midtown did a great job on a chimney inspection for us and they were very honest and found that an inspector who did the inspection on a chimney actually inspected the wrong chimney on a townhome. Our townhome chimney was in good condition and the next door chimney on the townhome was the one that wasn’t in good condition. They could of taken advantage of the situation but in stead they were very honest with us and said your chimney is in good condition and working properly. Very nice and professional company. I will be using them again in the future.

The custom fabrication was perfect, and everything fits tightly and will be good to go for another 40 years, I’m sure. The service was great. The initial estimate was on time. Midtown came to our house to clean our VERY DIRTY flue. This review may sound like I'm complaining, but read on...it has a happy ending!!! Apparently a back draft occurred and soot blew into the house and all over everything! We were in the process of selling our house and it was now filthy. I called Monty & Alice and they jumped on this!! It was late on a Friday, but first thing Monday morning they had a cleaning crew to my house. The crew spent 4 hours cleaning every surface (walls, floors, baseboards, lamps, plants...you name it...they cleaned it). The end result was a very clean flue and a very very clean house. Monty and Alice are the real deal in customer service. Highly recommend Midtown Chimney to anyone!!!!
