Mike and Alice are very personable and have been super helpful every step of the way. My wife and I were looking to upgrade a faulty, unusable gas fireplace in our family room and, with great guidance from Mike and Alice, we picked a wood burning stove insert from Regency. Mike has come by multiple times to make sure we are comfortable with its use and has had great tips and tricks for getting the most out of our fireplace. Kurt took our fireplace from totally unusable .. to a wonderful working fireplace. He is a master at his job. A true craftsman. Our home is over 100 years old. We bought the home because we wanted a fireplace. However whenever we lit a fire, even a duralog. Our home was filled with a smoke smell. Kurt restored our fireplace to perfection. Excellent job. My chimney had creosote build up which affected my ability to burn cleanly. Derek cleaned and inspected everything and was able to clear the stack so I can use my wood stove again without sooting. Very grateful! Highly recommend.

Byron and his team were extremely helpful when I discovered some serious fireplace problems when I moved into my home. He took the time to educate, listen, and fix my fireplace quickly!

We have lived in a 250 year old dutch farmhouse for the last 26 years. One of the fireplaces was so poorly reconstructed, most likely from the 50-60's that we could never use the fireplace. I called Kurt at Midtown and he suggested a wood-burning insert stove . He suggested a contractor to help with closing-in the fireplace hearth so that it seamlessly would receive the wood stove. They had to be pretty creative in how to make this work, and were really patient and focused on getting the best look possible for the age of the house.
In the first month after having the wood burning insert installed, we have used it at least 20 times. Its super easy to fire, draws great, and warms the room fantastically. My wife is thrilled... which is saying something! Nice work Midtown Chimney. We couldn't be happier.

Mike did a great job repairing shoddy work done by another vendor before him. After finding switches on 3 of my propane fireplaces had their safety wires removed he went about repairing and bringing all of them up to code and working order. Everything works great now. Thank you!

We have had Levi twice now. The first year Levi came and did an amazing job not only for me, but my father as well. Levi is timely, professional, but my favorite personable. The other thing about MTCS is their website works and the phone staff is great as well. Levi just cleaned our Kuma wood stove for this year and once again showed up prompt with a friendly personality. He got right to work and did another fantastic job. Byron is the best! Beau serviced my freestanding gas stove for the 1st time in 12 years. He did diagnose a bit of a faulty pilot assembly. After replacing the pilot assembly there were some issues with the flame pulling off the thermocouple resulting with the stove refusing to stay burning for longer than 1 minute. After trying several fixes while consulting with Byron and even the Quadrafire techs the problem still remained. Byron came out personally a couple of days later and fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. His experience really came through for us.
Beau and Byron will certainly to service our gas stove as well as our wood burner that Byron actually installed about 15 years ago.
