Regular chimney sweeping and chimney cleaning and chimney inspection by Midtown Chimney Sweeps will help reduce the risk of a chimney fire. No guarantee can be made that a chimney is risk-free. At Midtown Chimney Sweeps we take numerous precautions and steps to ensure that we inspect all visible portions of your fireplace or wood stove or pellet stove or gas fireplace and its connector pipe and chimney. All manufacturers of fireplaces, chimneys and vents recommend annual chimney sweeping, chimney cleaning and chimney inspection. The Fire Departments across America refer to a document called the NFPA 211. It is the code book for Solid Fuel burning appliances, and the NFPA 211 recommends the annual inspection and cleaning of all chimneys, fireplaces, wood stoves, pellet stoves, and their associated chimneys.

What we do when we sweep the flue.
After a Midtown Chimney Sweeps cleaning, there are no dirty carpets, no wondering about what condition the chimney is in, and no unsavory memory of a “shady guy” in the home. We sweep fast, clean and efficiently, offering you all the products and services you might possibly need for your fireplace, chimney or dryer vent. Customers are usually astonished at how professional our technicians treated them after dealing with other companies. How do we manage to do all of this?
With the revolutionary Midtown Chimney Sweeps Cleaning Method.
Rather than sooty vacuums and unprofessional sweeper technicians, we instead employ our HEPA centrifugal gravity dust extractor vacuum, and all our technicians wear professional uniforms and abide by the CCP Code of Ethics to treat all customers fairly.
Our technicians will use drop clothes to protect the floor, a bag for their hand tools, and a large vacuum on wheels. After an initial inspection and set up of tools in the home, the technician will review the exterior portion of the chimney and evaluate how it should be cleaned. Then he will return inside the home and clean the interior portion of the fireplace or stove, and then go back outside as required. Finally an evaluation will be presented on paper to the client indicating the findings of the inspection and sweeping process. This written invoice will be signed by you the customer and will have all the important information about the fireplace written down. No measure of safety can be guaranteed and none is to be implied. It is our desire to help you take care of your home and fireplace as if it were our own!
This, and both our online and phone scheduling center, provide the level of quality in-home service that Americans have come to expect. This thorough chimney sweeping system gets fantastic results that can turn one-time customers into lifetime customers. We want to be your Sweep for Life. And that is why every technician wears a badge on his shoulder that says, Sweep for Life!
